Gagababy.ie offer our customers an option (where possible) as to the how the gifts you purchase from us are shipped.
Give us an address for shipping where you spend most of your time during the day, so ideally a work address not a home address
Gagababy are currently using the services of An Post and GLS couriers. An Post will leave you a note if you are not there when an attempted delivery was made, this is why we also ask for a contact number during the day if they need to contact you prior to delivery.
We use An Post (registered) for all orders outside of the 32 Counties as standard. Postage to Northern Ireland is charged at the same cost as the Republic so don’t pick the UK. We are looking into a fix on the website so that Northern Ireland is a choice for shipping purposes. If you choose to have your order shipped courier, it will arrive within 1-2 days.
Shipping costs on this site are based on Weight, and over the years we know what products cost when shipping so we have flat rates set up for each item.
Our courier company GLS are used for all orders that you would like to track from when it leaves us here to when it is delivered. There is a flat rate of €8.40 for all courier deliveries and your order should be with you within 2 days.
How Do I Know When My Order Has Been received and processed correctly?
If your order has been processed correctly you will receive an automated email back to the email address you gave us on registration. The status of the order is then updated when, confirmed & Shipped.
What happens if I am not there to sign for my order?
All tracked orders must be signed for by the recipient. In the event that you are not present to accept delivery an attempted delivery docket or telephone message will be left if An post are delivering your order , it will be brought to your local sorting office and held for collection for 7 days. If it is not collected within this time period it will be returned to our registered Offices.
Please note you will be liable for return shipping costs where we have to resend or redirect a parcel to you, this re-charge is at cost price and is incurred for shipping by both An Post or a Courier Company.
How long will my order take to arrive>
We do our very best to get your order to you in a timely manner, but occasionally an order can be late due to reasons beyond our control. Below is a guideline to how long your order will take to arrive:
Ireland: 1-3 working days (due to the Covid-19 pandemic, these times are sometimes impacted as An Post are working off staffing restrictions too.
UK: 3-4 working days (possible delays)
Europe: 6-10 working days (possible delays)
Rest of the world: 10-15 working days (definite delays). *Post to Australia, New Zealand & Canada has been disabled due to the costs doubling as there are no commercial flights taking post as per the normal. All post to these destinations have to go freight which is incredibly expensive at the moment. We will revisit our decision as more restrictions are lifted.
